TSNLA appoints new Chief Executive

Tim Ward, formerly Chief Executive of Learning Curve, a charitable SFA/EFA learning provider based in SW England, has been appointed to the new role of TSNLA Cheif Executive. Tim has been involved with TSNLA from its inception and has been an active advocate and representative for the VCSE sector in the skills world.

Don Hayes, Chair of TSNLA, said: ‘We are very pleased that Tim has agreed to take up this role. The VSCE sector has always had an important economic and social inclusion role in skills. This role is more critical than ever with the need to ensure that all have the opportunities, motivation and skills to contribute to the economy post-Brexit.’

Tim Ward said, ‘I believe strongly in the critical contribution the VCSE sector plays in skills and learning. I am delighted to be given the opportunity to help the VCSE sector to continue to play its part in a fast-changing skills policy environment, including the move to more local control of learning and skills.

The team working with Tim will include John Harris who will manage the ETF-funded Professional Exchange Project and Amanda Pavon-Lopez who will be responsible for Policy and Communications.
